A bike fit follow up is the right step when the first session already moved things in the right direction but real riding has shown where the setup still needs fine tuning. That often happens after a few weeks outside, after a training block or after a meaningful component change.
It is not a copy of the first appointment. It is a focused review of what is working, what still feels limited and what should be refined without reopening the whole process unnecessarily.
When a follow up makes sense
A follow up suits riders whose baseline already exists. It is strongest when you have ridden the new setup in the real world and now need precise refinement instead of going back into random experiments.
-
you have ridden the adjusted setup and want targeted fine tuning
-
some symptoms improved but one or two points are not fully resolved
-
you changed saddle, bars, shoes, cranks or another key component
-
your training focus or event goal changed
-
you want to confirm that the original fit logic still holds
When the main service is the better start
If you have not had a clear first fit yet, or the whole position still feels fundamentally wrong, a follow up is usually not the right starting point. In that case the main Bike Fitting service is the stronger route.
What to bring to a follow up
Bring the bike in its current state, your normal shoes and kit, and a clear summary of what improved, what changed and what still feels limited. The better the feedback from real riding, the more precise the follow up can be.
